In Kind Donations
Stepping Stones of Hope relies heavily on the in-kind gifts of individuals, companies, schools and service organization. These gifts allow a greater percentage of funds raised to be used for direct service programs.
Items needed include:
- New stuffed bears, 12" - 18" - given to all program participants
- Sponsorship of camper votive's and candles
- Sponsorship of camper t-shirts
- Colored card stock
- Tiles or broken tile pieces
- New or like new laptop - two are required for weekend programs
- New or like new av projector - two are required for the weekend programs
- Underwriting to print Stepping Stones of Hope banners and flags
- Gift certificates to restaurants, stores, spas, hotels, vacation destinations, local attractions used for event raffles & volunteer give away's
- Digital camera
- Plastic sheets for laminator
- Underwriting to publish & print organizational newsletters - call office for details
- Solid colored cardboard memory (photo) boxes for children
- Journals for children and adults
- Gift certificates for Costco, Sam's Club to purchase treats & items used for support groups
- Disposable camera's - approximately 225/yr
Stepping Stones of Hope acknowledges receipt of items without regard to their value, and does not render tax advice, please consult your tax advisor. You must set and declare fair value of the donation on your tax return. Following IRS guidelines, the donor will receive a receipt and confirms that the donor did not receive any goods or services in connection with the donation.
